This a very choice, dark purple amethyst scepter with phantoms sitting on matrix with nicely formed Dolomite crystals and some minor Chalcedony. The scepter is the color of the purest grape juice, has numerous phantoms, displays silky luster and is pristine! It is 5cm tall, razor sharp, gemmy, and is perched nicely in a shallow pocket on matrix lined with 4 to 5mm, tawny Dolomite crystals (which is very unusual for Brandberg!) and a little white Chalcedony for accent. An exceptional Brandberg piece with no repairs or damage! Matrix specimens of this quality are uncommon.
