This is a dramatic cluster of two distinct and beautiful Serandite crystals with great color, from the noted collection of Art Soregaroli of Vancouver. The main crystal in this duet is over two and one-half inches in length and and an inch across and both have good salmon-pink color with the smaller one having a smoky hue to it. They have good luster and exhibit very fine striations parallel to their length that creates a play of light on the crystal faces. The large Serandite crystal is well formed and nicely terminated with only very minor chatter on one edge and the back of the crystal at the top is slightly compromised. The second crystal of this group is actually a sidecar to the larger one and has a perfect termination on the top end; and the bottom terminates essentially inside the larger crystal. The salmon-pink color is good but not the ideal salmon-red color. The piece is complete on the front and may be contacted on the back where it may have been separated from other Serandite crystals in the pocket. An old classic from the so-called "Glory Tunnel" of the late 1980s, never to be found again. These are, and remain, unique in all the world.
