A great Italian Alpine classic! This specimen hosts several, rich reddish orange color, highly lustrous, gemmy, sparkling, dodechedra (with minor trapezohedral modifying faces) of Hessonite measuring up to 7 mm on matrix. There is some minor dark green associated Diopside on the side of the specimen as well. Bellecombe is famous for these Hessonites and they are truly some of the world's finest for what they are. These are excellent quality crystals from this locality. 7.0 x 4.3 x 4.3cm
