A DRAMATIC and AESTHETIC, old-time Himalaya Mine tourmaline specimen. A gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated, 3.5 cm, bi-colored tourmaline is very jauntily attached, like a cannon barrel, to a larger, gemmy, bi-colored tourmaline. The angled gemmy tourmie glows with green and pink color in two of the three UNRETOUCHED backlit photos. Interestingly, the termination of the smaller crystal is matte-black, while the large crystal termination has high luster. Very nearly pristine, with only slight edge wear on the smaller crystals termination. Shockingly, it is really not repaired at all despite the unlikely odds of such a cluster surviving. From an old European collection.
