The Kelly Mine is noted for smithsonite, and to a lesser degree aurichalcite. Primary azurite is actually very rare here, and this would be considered a large specimen. Aside from that rarity value, this is simply a beautiful thin plate of azurite from any locale, with sparkling, sugary, small crystals completely covering the piece. Ex. Harold Urish Collection.
