This aesthetic knob of banded botryoidal malachite looks just like a Paleozoic-aged trilobite with the head and an "eye" of the left side. This classic specimen is from the Urals Mountains of Russia. The piece has been lightly buffed to bring out the luster. This is a fascinating old-timer from the George Elling Collection.
