A BEAUTIFUL, 1.7 cm, lustrous, twinned and striated, dark oliive-green epidote crystal nicely set on massive epidote matrix covered with transparent quartz needles and smaller epidote crystals. Dr. Gary Hansen personally collected this showy piece at the Green Monster Mine, probably in the 1960s or early 70s., according to his label still with it. It was still in his personal collection some 30 years later when I bought it 5.7 x 4.9 x 3.7 cm
