As you can see, this is just a superb Illinois fluorite, with the classic zoning of golden yellow centers sharply outlined by gemmy purple rinds. Fine luster, and only a few nearly invisible micro-dings that don't detract at all. For most purposes, its pristine. These specimens, in this quality, are becoming very uncommon on the market and prices seem to shoot up about 20% per year now that the mines have closed. This is as sharp a fluorite for the size as I have had in a long time from these classic mines! 6 x 5.5 x 2.7 cm
