Now very rare on the market, this is an excellent small cabinet cluster of a rare habit and color of red quartz found at Dal'negorsk in the late 1990s. There were very few of these fat, tapered crystals found. The color is phenomenal and unique. It is complete, although there is a white secondary coating atop portions. This is an unusually robust and well balanced specimen. To this day Ii have never gotten a good answer as to what causes this bizarre and unique coloration.
