This would be an impressive crystal for Peru, for its "engraved"-looking faces, shiny-metallic luster and size - but it is actually an old Colorado pyrite, and therefore that much more desirable! The back side of the crystal is not complete, but most of it is covered with micro-faces, indicating that it was loose in the pocket and healed while still there. One of the front faces is decorated with these elongated grooves, and the other has a pretty terraced appearance. From the collection of Gene Meieran.
