A fine specimen of Primary Malachite (not formed after azurite replacement, in other words) on Malachite. Stacked curved blades up to 3.5 cm long, they have a gorgeous deep forest green color and superb luster. Layered on top of this first generation is a second generation of iridescent, velvety Malachite. Primary malachite crystals of this size are rare, and this is probably the best locality for them. Ex. Charlie Key.
