Nestled on a matrix of massive tan calcite are gemmy, golden, lustrous, spear-like, crystals of Baryte to over 3 cm in the case of the central pointed crystal atop. They are uniformaly super sharp, super lustrous, and very bright and glassy. This is a very high quality for the now closed locality. These were mined and stashed in Soviet days and came to market widely only when the wall fell. Now, this hoard dispersed, they are extremely hard to obtain today in this quality level. The color of the crystals is eerily similar to those from Elk Creek, South Dakota. 9 x 8.6 x 4.5 cm
