A CLASSIC, OLD-TIME and beautiful curved vug lined with sharp, green malachite psuedomorphs after azurite crystals from Chessy, France. The Chessy mines were closed by the end of the 19th century and this is a SUPERB example of a seldom available pseudomorph. Try to find another. A bit of azurite on the periphery is a nice accent. Ex. Jean Behier and George Elling Collections.
