This unusual specimen features a solid 3-dimensional mass of crystals of steeply curved fluorite octohedra, to 3 cm on edge, perched on a sugary, sparkling white quartz matrix that overlays a thin rind of green fluorite. The piece is complete all around and aesthetic. The contrast is amazing! When backlit, the whole piece glows in 3 colors. It has the rare, slightly less deep purple color pattern from the later finds (summer 2013), that shows subtle blue/purple color variegation within the crystals. Aesthetic!
