Selenite (Fluorescent)
A small, well-formed ball of twinned crystals of Selenite, with one super-gemmy 1.6 cm twinned crystal growing prominently out from the ball. This color, and this gemminess, is quite unusual. The Selenites formed in the clay beds of the Red River Floodway near Winnipeg, as floater balls of crystals. Under UV light, this beautiful Selenite crystal fluoresces green. In addition, it phosphoresces after the UV light is turned off. Sharp, beautiful, and aesthetic. The only such killer example I have seen in a TN sized specimen
