A nice cluster of dark intergrown tabular crystals, some showing the famous alexandrite cyclic twinning. The crystals have good luster, and clearly demonstrate the color change that Alexandrite is famous for (green to purple/red depending on lighting). It is crystallized all around and mostly opaque, though slightly translucent in a few places. This is a very nice example of the species at a fair price, I think. 4.5 x 3.6 x 2.8 cm
