A richly covered, two-sided, excellent, old-time specimen from Chile of lustrous, green, mostly micro crystals and a few larger crystals to 8 mm of bromian chlorargyrite on matrix. The old Schortmann"s label says embolite, an old, discredited term for bromian chlorargyrite. The specimen is either from the famous Chanarcillo District or the Type Locality of Copiapo - but I would wager on the former. Ex Richard Hauck Collection. 5.8 x 4.4 x 2.2 cm
