A cabinet specimen consisting of large, lustrous, gray-black braunite crystals to 1.5cm from Nordmark, Sweden, set within a contrasting fine-grained, granular quartz fracture filling on braunite ore. Hedyphane, a lead chloroarsenate, also occurs within the quartz as yellow-brown, bladed to lamellar crystals to 2mm. This piece is accompanied by a J. Cilen label. From Langban, Filipstad, Varmland, Sweden. These crystals are large for the locality and the species. Ex. Paulo Matioli collection.
