Interesting and attractive specimen comprised of three generations of Rhodochrosite on a massive manganite matrix. The first generation is banded deep red Rhodochrosite that is very gemmy. The second generation was a series of flat-lying intergrown scalenohedrons, also very gemmy. Finally, there was coating of bright drusy pink Rhodochrosite that provides contrast and visual interest.
