An old-time, fine and very rich specimen with very intricate patterns of the sea-green phosphate, variscite, from the famous Tonopah District of Nevada. This particular piece is very rich in segmented pods of variscite. From an older collection and comes with a faded Wards label. The collection this came out of was a museum stash dating to prior to WW I.
