A striking and unusual specimen of two, intergrown clusters of azurite crystals with vividly different blue colors, from the Tsumeb Mine. The sharp, highly lustrous, dark midnight blue to jet black azurite crystals have a stunning, secondary overgrowth of much lighter, matte-finish, royal blue azurite. A bit of contrasting matrix is a nice accent. This outstanding and highly unusual Tsumeb azurite is essentially pristine. Uncommon for such rich coverage.
