An interesting and very showy pseudomorph from recent finds at the Shangbao Mine of China. Sparkly, drusy quartz has pseudomorphed sharp calcite scalenohedrons on this excellent, damage-free specimen. The large pseudomorph is 4.7 cm and you can see where this and another crystal have been partially dissolved away and then pseudomorphed. Fascinating. Furthermore, the drusy quartz-covered base is sea-green fluorite.
