A fine, rich silver ore specimen from an unknown mine in the Potosi Department, Bolivia. The specimen is solid, hackly, sponge-like silver with some quartz and a scattering of black acanthite. A handwritten note on the back of the label states that the piece was purchased in Denver, Colorado in 1968 (by previous owner). Ex. George Elling Collection.
