An impressive, prismatic, salmon-pink Serandite crystal is accented by black, acicular Aegirine crystals and platy white Albite from the Poudrette Quarry in Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The Serandite is nearly two inches in length, is translucent and exhibits great vitreous luster! The Aegirine and Albite add nice contrast and aesthetics to this classic piece. Mont Saint-Hilaire hosts a complex suite of alkaline igneous rocks and is the premier world locality for Serandite and is also the type locality for numerous mineral species. this is the classic color, and in a superbly sharp crystal.
