UNIQUE and WEIRD balls of lustrous, lavender-colored, manganoan adamite balls line a very well-placed vug in two-toned gossan matrix on this UNUSUAL specimen from the well-known Mina Ojuela of Mexico. A second, smaller vug features typical, yellow-green adamite crystals. This STRANGE, but showy specimen HAS to be related to the famous 1981 find of purple adamites at the mine. Purple adamite is one of the Holy Grail Mina Ojuela and Mexican species for collectors. Ex Dr. Gary Hansen Collection and dating to the early 1980s.
