What I find interesting about this fine, large crystal book of molybdenite is that it is accompanied by an obviously old envelope with the return address of the Molybdenum Corporation of America on it. It has "Molybdenite, Mexico" written on it. So it was obviously collected by someone associated with a mining operation of the company in Mexico. A fine example of this native element, shiny and pretty too! Ex. Hauck and Stoudt Collections.
