A strange, oddball example of a Fluorite-Baryte intergrowth (not just a combination per se!) from the famous Minerva #1 Mine. The lustrous Fluorite cubes range up to 1.3 cm, and have sharp phantom zones that are light blue to dark blue to almost clear. The Fluorites are so gemmy, that you clearly see the almost dendritic white Barytes within. A very appealing effec, which Ross Lillie says is characteristic of a rare intergrowth as these formed in the pocket. Mined in 1992 from the Adams/Clanton Drift. A nice, attractive specimen.
