A classic Clinoclase specimen from the Majuba Hill mine. This "Dana Locality" is now closed, but in its day produced some very attractive secondary copper minerals. The specimen hosts several typical deep blue, sparkling crystal aggregates of Clinoclase on matrix. The largest individual crystal measures approximately 4 mm long. These crystals are a bit blockier than most other Clinoclase crystals I have seen from this locality or the more famous specimens from Cornwall. A good reference specimen of this well known material from the U.S. Ex. Brian Kosnar Collection.
