A fine old BISBEE CLASSIC! These are wonderfully sharp azurite crystals to 2 cm in length that have pseudomorphed to malachite, resulting in the typical "patina" that the copper content gives it. These can sometimes be rather rough and corroded looking, but the crystals here are very sharp. This fine and very hard-to-obtain specimen came out of the Hauck Collection, and before that, was in the McIver Collection the New York State Museum (Geology Dept) .
