Paradamite is a very rare zinc arsenate, found in only three localities worldwide. Mina Ojuela is the Type Locality. This fine specimen features gemmy, waxy luster, yellow-green prisms aesthetically scattered on the sturdy, thin gossan crust. The two large crystals are 6 mm. A very highly desirable and excellent rarity from Mina Ojuela, seldom available in this quality. This piece probably dates to the 1960s or 1970s. Ex. Smithsonian Collection.
