Attention quartz and Dalnegorsk collectors: Dalnegorsk AMETHYST! This is one of 4 specimens we got from a very small, surprising find in 2006. The specimens are not world-class for the species, but the importance here is the locality; and, actually, they ARE rather pretty, with good transparency, glassy luster and a very delicate lavender color. Almost pristine with just a few tiny dings. There are 3 fine crystals here, really gemmy.
