Under the right circumstances, even rust (which is basically what limonite is) can make a fine mineral specimen. Look at this complete, scepter-shaped stalactite of limonite, from the Daye Mine, which continues to astonish with the most amazing variety of mineral specimens of every sort imaginable. Sculptural and actually quite beautiful, especially for rust.
