Rhodolite is rare rose-red gem variety of pyrope garnet and is used as a gemstone. These two, sharp, floater crystals are from an uncommon locality - Lokirima, Kenya. They have a nice rose-red color, when front-lit, but glow cherry-red when backlit. Weigh 7.95 and 6.96 carats or 14.91 carats total. Ex. Irv Brown Thumbnail Collection. Very rare on the market.
