Greenockite is an uncommon cadmium sulfide. Apple-green microcrystals of greenockite richly cover the hummocky matrix of sphalerite crystals on this fine, old-time specimen from the famous Joplin Field of the Tri-State District. Ex. Underhill and Feist Collections.
