This lustrous, gemmy, and red 1.5 cm Rhodochrosite is simply exquisite. As good as the pics are, it is even better in person. A killer thumbnail rhodochrosite from Mexico, where such are very uncommon! This would be old material, probably 1960s vintage. Well-trimmed to make it a superb, balanced, thumbnail specimen
