Those distinctive triangular “Mercedes” zoning patterns explode through the cross-sections, surrounded by layers of cinnamon, amber, pink, green and earthy brown.

Turn them in the light and the show completely changes. Strong pleochroism and complex growth zoning reveal different colors, patterns and depth from every angle—almost like miniature works of abstract art created inside the crystal.
