Four incredible specimens of raw star Rutile with Hematite and golden Rutile blades from Novo Horizonte, Bahia, Brazil—each one completely different and absolutely loaded with character.

The contrast is what gets me: highly lustrous, almost metallic-black Hematite crystals surrounded and pierced by sprays of brilliant golden Rutile blades. Turn them in the light and the entire surface comes alive—gold against black, blades shooting in every direction, and endless layers of crystal architecture.

Some angles are dominated by the golden Rutile, others by those mirror-like Hematite faces. Every rotation reveals something new.
