What a crystal. This Elbaite Tourmaline from the legendary Malkhan Pegmatite Field, Krasnyi Chikoy, Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia has that unmistakable old-school Russian character.
Deep wine-red and burgundy tones run through the crystal, with flashes of warmer color glowing from within. Add the sharp termination, strong vertical striations and beautiful natural luster, and this one has serious presence.
