Some of my absolute favorite Namibian Amethyst together in one shot—special pieces from Buks Claim, Three Trees Claim, and Streep Mine in the Goboboseb Mountains of Namibia.

To me, no other Amethyst compares to this material. That ridiculously rich deep grape-jelly purple, the electric BLURPLE flashes, the smoky zoning, phantoms, and incredible crystal architecture… every piece has its own personality.

Under different lighting, these crystals can shift from saturated royal purple to flashes of blue-violet that almost don’t look real. That BLURPLE is exactly what hooked me on Namibian Amethyst—and why I keep hunting for the exceptional ones.
