Pseudo-cubic crystals of chabazite lustrous in measuring to 0.5 cm in size on matrix with green crystallized epidote. In good condition. Neat locality example for the species. The Kairiaka quarry, situated near Chernomoretz and Sozopol within the Burgas Province of southeastern Bulgaria, is a notable granite quarry that became widely recognized among European mineral collectors before operations ceased and the site was closed. Geologically, the area is part of regional intrusive formations where plutonic rocks developed secondary cavities and joint planes influenced by hydrothermal activity. Mineralogically, the quarry gained fame for producing exceptional association specimens, most notably sharp, yellow-brown to orange-brown rhombohedral chabazite crystals resting upon white orthoclase matrices, often accompanied by dark smoky quartz crystals and delicate green epidote needles.
