From a famous single find in August of 2019, this is a candy-like pink fluorite cluster with sharp crystals to an inch(!) of such geometric perfection, it is hard to believe they are not carved. The cluster is a floater, complete all around, and pristine. It has moderate luster, typical of this material. The largest crystal with one inch edges is particularly equant and well-formed. These sharp pink octahedral fluorite crystals are now legendary for their razor-sharp form and gemmy rose-pink color, and often feature delicate fibrous byssolite or actinolite needle inclusions such as you see a little bit of, here. The trick is balance: not too many inclusions, and spread throughout the crystal. In this case, those often distracting inclusions are very minimal.
