A stunning, razor sharp crystal of azurite showing an unusual dramatic geometric habit for Milpillas, in that it has such a narrow axis on one length combined with robust axes on the other angles. It looks more like a special Easter Pocket 1994 azurite (from Tsumeb), than other Milpillas crystals. It is complete all around and freestanding, pristine. This is a choice miniature that shows deep vivid blue color - not too light nor too dark. Wayne and I were among the top importers of Milpillas material from 2008 or so; and partnered many deals. He later brokered many if not most of the best specimens and lots coming into the USA, which he purchased from the "Three Jesuses": Jesus, his son Jesus, and his son-in-law Jesus, in a huge pickup truck. This was from one of those deals around 2013-14, and kept since then in Wayne's personal collection of Miniatures/Thumbnails built with his daughter. Although Milpillas produced many - thousands - of azurite specimens, this one still stands out in its style and size class. Laszlo Kupi photo.
