NEW ACQUISITION • PUBLISHED COLLECTOR-LEVEL UKRAINIAN HELIODOR

I’m incredibly excited to unveil this phenomenal 163 gram etched Heliodor from the legendary Volodarsk-Volynskii pegmatite field, Ukraine—a true collector-level masterpiece that showcases the extraordinary natural dissolution textures for which these Ukrainian beryls are world-renowned.

Every face of this crystal is covered in intricate geometric etching, creating a breathtaking architectural landscape sculpted entirely by nature. Its rich golden color, exceptional transparency, and remarkable size make it one of the finest examples of the locality I’ve had the privilege to own.

What makes this specimen even more special is its pedigree. This exact crystal was published on page 74 of Private Mineral Collections of Texas I, the 2009 Mineralogical Record supplement, where it appeared as part of the renowned Jim & Imelda Klein Collection, photographed by the legendary Jeff Scovil.

Now proudly displayed on a handcrafted Sunnywood custom base, allowing every incredible etched surface to be appreciated from every angle.

Published specimens with this level of aesthetics, provenance, and rarity don’t come along often. Moments like this are exactly why the hunt never stops.
