A cluster of colorless quartz crystals, these hosting beautiful deep blue crystals of fluorite to 1.3 cm in size. Great color contrast in perfect condition.The Huanggang Mines, situated in the Southern Great Xing'an Range of Inner Mongolia, China, represent one of the largest skarn-type iron and tin polymetallic deposits in Asia. Historically developed as a major mining district, the complex formed primarily during the Early Cretaceous as a result of intensive Yanshanian magmatic activity. Geologically, the deposit is characterized by extensive contact metasomatism where post-magmatic hydrothermal fluids from granitic intrusions interacted with Permian carbonate and sedimentary rock sequences. This process produced rich, zoned calc-silicate skarn assemblages dominated by garnets and pyroxenes, which host massive accumulations of magnetite, cassiterite, and associated base-metal ores.
