The ArkenstoneFeatured
From the thumbnail collection of the legendary dealer Charlie Key (keyite, ludlockite), known for his nearly 50 years of prominence in dealing African minerals, this later went to the Sussman collection. It is a single, fine, perfect, terminated crystal of transparent jeremejevite from the most famous and important find of the species. This single discovery - a 1973 discovery of vibrant blue crystals near Swakopmund (the "72 Mile deposit") - put the species on the map for collectors beyond the micro specimens. Specimens from this find are almost impossible to source today.
