New find in May 2025. Pyrite specimen from the famous Huanzalá mine. The Pyrites from Huanzalá are well known to mineral collectors worldwide. They stand out for their brilliance and richness of crystallographic forms. In this piece we suggest, the Pyrite crystal shows very well defined faces and edges and with excellent goldtone and top luster. It is formed by a well formed cubic crystal in an aerial position with very fine growth striations. It is extraordinarily lustrous and settled on matrix of small Calcite crystals. No damage.
