This is a pastel pink plate of botryoidal rhodochrosite covering a surface of the rare mineral species Parsettensite, from a small and unique find in Italy. We presume this was in the late 90s or early 2000s, and then it came out of an Italian collection and went into the Geiger rhodo collection ever since. He says this is a good, rich, and big example of the find - and for once, I am stumped, as I had not seen even one specimen in person before.
