A large and very rare heliodor from the Lundazi District of Zambia! This 6+ cm crystal features excellent green color, reminiscent of a Brazilian heliodor. In excellent condition with one large area of contact on the termination, which can be seen in the photo, where the crystal likely grew against another mineral – but this is NOT damage. It is fully crystallized. New to us, this is a recent, rare, and still largely unknown find.
