A gorgeous 16 cm tall citrine specimen from the Adams Mine in Hiddenite, North Carolina. This locality is famous for the green variety of spodumene, for which the town is named after – as well as the United States’ finest emeralds. This locality is also known for its fine rutiles, and, occasionally, beautiful citrines such as this. This is a very large and well preserved example with minor rutile inclusions at the back. A great North American quartz!
