Mined in 2020, this specimen features rhodochrosite, sphalerite, pyrite, fluorite and quartz! The rhodochrosite is not perfect, as seen, but the overall composition and aesthetics of this specimen can’t be denied. While not highlighted in the photo, the sphalerite is fantastic. It features sharp and large (for the locality) crystals that fluoresce orange under UV light. The pyrite is also sharp and very good for the locality…and to top it all off, a perfect purple fluorite crystal is perched next to it.
